Material you may process
PageScan is intended to help organize material you have the right to copy or transform, such as documents you created, your own presentations, material used with permission, or material permitted by applicable law or license.
Third-party copyrighted material
Books, lecture materials, paid content, images and slides may be protected by copyright or contractual restrictions. The fact that PageScan can technically process a file does not grant permission to copy or distribute it.
Sharing and distribution
Private conversion and distributing, publishing or selling a resulting file may be treated differently under law or contract. You are responsible for checking whether your intended use is permitted.
DRM and access controls
PageScan does not provide features intended to bypass DRM, access controls, screen-recording restrictions or other technical protection measures. Do not use the service to circumvent those restrictions.
Rights in user material
PageScan does not claim ownership of copyright in source material you select. Rights in the PageScan website itself, including its interface, code and original documentation, remain with their respective rights holders.
Rights complaints
If the operator publishes a dedicated rights-contact channel, rights holders may use it to identify the affected URL, explain the rights involved and request appropriate action. Do not submit false or misleading notices.
