About PageScan
PageScan is a browser-based video scan and video-to-PDF tool. It analyzes videos or screen recordings of books, documents, and PPT slides, extracts page images, crops and enhances them, removes duplicates, and creates a PDF.
How to use
- Choose videoImport an existing MP4/MOV/WebM video from your photo library or files.
- Choose scan modeUse Document Scan for books/documents and PPT Lecture Scan for lecture slides.
- Automatic extractionAutomatically scans intervals where a page remains on screen.
- Review pagesTap a page and swipe left or right to review continuously. Retake or add the next page from the device photo picker, where supported camera and photo-library options are provided by the OS.
- Save PDFReview page order and image quality, then download the PDF.
Privacy Notice
PageScan currently does not use accounts or its own cloud-storage feature. Videos and photos selected or captured by the user, as well as PDF data being generated, are designed to be processed inside the browser.
Standard connection information required to access the website, such as IP address and browser information, may be processed in security and operational logs by hosting or network providers. This notice may change if PageScan later adds analytics, statistics, or account features.
Terms of Service
PageScan is a tool that extracts document pages from videos and images supplied by the user and helps create PDFs. Automatic page detection, boundary estimation, handwriting filtering, and duplicate detection can make mistakes depending on video quality and document layout, so users should review the result before saving the final PDF.
Keep important original material separately. Work-in-progress data may be lost due to service interruption, browser termination, insufficient memory, or similar issues.
